Premier Open Source Services Automation Software v1.5 Released - Gains New Features |

Cybersource and the development community behind the allocPSA project, are proud to release a major new version of the premier open source Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution. Designed to assist services-based businesses to manage people, projects and billing, allocPSA is available for download worldwide, free of charge, under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL).
allocPSA 1.5, just released to Sourceforge.net, offers the following new
or improved features:
- Added Product and Sales module
- Extrapolated figures that are used in the project spend. Will help
understand project budgets.
- Added dynamic/instant editing interfaces to projects and tasks.
- Added better support for Pre-paid Projects functionality using a maxAmount
field.
- Moved codebase over to PHP5
- Added further SOAP hooks with a generic get_list() method, which allows
web services clients to fetch lists of: clients, comments, transactions,
invoices, people, projects, products, tasks and time sheets.
- Support for double entry transactions
- Many performance enhancements, pages should load faster and use less server-side
resources.
- Added more end-user allocPSA email customisations, including setting a default
header and footer, setting email subject lines etc.
- Added functionality to allow task editing en-masse.
- Project import/export facility for GNOME Planner (XML) and CSV
- Added ability to leave comments/emails with attachments to time sheets.
- Plus another 140 fixes/changes.
